Newton- Winifred J. Koehn, 88, died Tuesday, May 24, 2020 at Paramount Community Living, Newton.

She was born at Carnegie , OK on December 8, 1933 to Samuel T. and Emma (Dalke) Jantz.

A Halstead resident for 68 years she was a member of First Mennonite Church, Halstead and was a retired bus driver for USD 440 Halstead-Bentley and also drove the Harvey County Interurban.

On April 23 1955 she married Eugene Willard Koehn at Halstead, he preceded her in death December 20, 2000.

Survivors include daughters: Cynthia (Mike) Beneke, Lincolnville; Cheryl (Don) Jones, Hutchinson; Linda (Naoki) Imaizumi, Panama City, FL; seven grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. She was also preceded in death by an infant

She was also preceded in death by an infant sister; Betty Ann Jantz and brothers: LaVern, Milton, Willard, Eldon, Robert, Gerald, and Richard Jantz.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at First Mennonite Church, Halstead with Pastor Steve Wilcox officiating. Burial will follow at Halstead Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to First Mennonite Church in care of Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead.
