Verlin Paul Bartel, 85, of Kansas City, KS, passed away on May 25th, 2022, at Wichita Presbyterian Manor, Wichita. His wife, Elaine (Schmidt) Bartel, predeceased him.

Verlin is survived by his sister LaVerta Schmidt, sister-in-law Myrna Bartel, brother Richard Bartel, brother Clifford (Pamela) Bartel, brother Allan (Susan) Bartel, sister Kathleen (Larry) Thimm, sister-in-law Kristin Schmidt, sister-in-law Ada (Wesley) Schmidt-Tieszen, daughters Heather (David) Bradford and Olivia Bartel, and grandchildren Isaac and Anna Bradford.

He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Elva Bartel, brother Stanley, brother-in-law Alfred, sister-in-law Terry, brother-in-law Archie, and nephew Larry.

A memorial service will be held at Rainbow Mennonite Church, Kansas City, KS, on September 3rd (Saturday) at 11:00 a.m. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Rainbow Mennonite Church, 1444 Southwest Blvd, Kansas City, KS 66103, designated for RMC Memorial Fund in memory of Verlin Bartel.
