On April 13, 1990, a tornado ripped through Hesston. The twister damaged more than 220 homes and 20 businesses.

For the 25th anniversary in 2015 Duane Graham took photographer Nichole Peck on a tour, recreating photos he took of the damage after the storm had passed. The “old” Casey’s pic and “old” Pizza Hut photos were provided by Emily Simms.
