Sarah Cenith Hazlett, age 96, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Fountain View Nursing Home in Omaha, Nebraska. Sarah was born November 23, 1926 in Potwin, Kansas the daughter of Roy O. and Ethel (Stewart) Killion. The family moved to Newton, Kansas when Sarah was a teenager and she graduated from Newton High School. On November, 23, 1947 she married Floyd Hazlett, and they were married 55 years prior to his passing on February 21, 2003. Sarah was a homemaker and the couple raised two daughters, Leanne and Janet. Sarah is survived by her daughter Janet Sue Wunderlich of Omaha, Nebraska; 5 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd; and daughter Leanne Schafer. Graveside Services will be held Friday, May 26, 2023, 2:00 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton, Kansas.
