Kelli Sue Baer entered heavens gates on November 25, 2022 at Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita.

Born to Carl McCurdy and Catherine Higgins McCurdy on September 10, 1970 in Newton, KS. She attended school in newton and was a CNA for many years until her health prohibited her from working.

Kelli collected bears and loved to listen to music, watching movies, playing bingo and shopping. She enjoyed being with family and playing with her grandchildren. She never knew a stranger and had many, many friends. We will all dearly miss her.

Kelli is survived by her mother Cathy McCurdy of Newton, daughter Heather (Adam) Franzen of Valley Center, sons; Travis Baer of Wichita and Levi Baer of Newton, five grandchildren; Zoey Lynn, Izzabella, Elliott, Callie and Josiah, sisters; Marci Tallman of Newton and Kristi Swickand of Newton, brothers; Shane McCurdy of Wichita and Carl Dietzman of Spokane, WA.

She is proceeded in death by her father Carl McCurdy. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Broadway Colonial Funeral Home to help with costs. Graveside services will be held Friday December 2, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton. Following the graveside service, a potluck style dinner will be held at First Church of God in Newton. The family asks you bring a dish to pass if you are able.
