MAIZE – Newton High School softball pitcher Tegan Livesay did her best imitation of Shohei Ohtani Friday, hitting three home runs with nine RBIs and claiming two wins pitching with 20 strikeouts in a sweep of Maize South in Maize.
WICHITA – The Bethel College track teams gained a national qualifier Friday and Saturday at the K.T. Woodman Classic at Wichita State’s Cessna Stadium.
MAIZE – The Newton High School baseball team had its chances in both games against Maize South Friday in AV-CTL I play in Maize, but 13 errors undermined those efforts. Newton lost the first game 6-4 and the second game 7-4.
