The Kansan Staff The Bethel College football team did what it needed to do Saturday to finish the season with a 9-1 record and claiming a share of its third straight Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference title. The Threshers can now only wait and watch the process play out as the team gets a bye in the final week of the regular season.
The Kansan Staff Newton High School senior golfer Lindsey Warsnak was named a Class 5A All-State Honorable Mention by the Kansas Golf Coaches Association. Warsnak placed 13th in the state tournament to claim a medal, leading the Railers to an eighth-place team finish.
The Kansan Staff DAVIS, Calif. — The Bethel College women’s basketball team took on its first NCAA Division I opponent in roughly five decades, falling to the University of California- Davis 84-36 Monday afternoon at the University Credit Union Center in Davis.
