Cheney runs stop Remington in HOAL-CPL Challenge
BRAINERD — Runs to end the first three quarters were too much for the seventh- ranked (KBCA, Class 2A) Remington Bronco girls to overcome in a 42-27 loss to sixth-ranked (Class 3A) Cheney in the Heart of America League-Central Plains League Challenge Thursday at Remington.“ It’s unfortunate. Early in the game for the first 12 minutes or so, we did an excellent job,” Remington coach Ricky Snyder said.
Railer swimmers 11th at Andover Central
ANDOVER — The Newton High School boys’ swimming team placed 11th Saturday at the Andover Central Invitational. Andover won the 12-team meet with 405 points, followed by Andover Central at 361, Kapaun-Mt.
