SALINA — The Newton High School boys’ basketball team snapped a six-game losing streak, stopping Salina South 71-47 Tuesday in AV-CTL play in Salina. Newton picks up its second win of the season, doubling the wins of the previous season.
The Newton High School bowling teams held their regular-season home finales Monday afternoon, splitting with Valley Center at Eastgate Lanes. The Railer girls edged Valley Center 1,647-1,627.
