The Bethel College softball team played one of its longest games of the year, if not in team history, Wednesday night in an 8-7 loss to Southwestern in nine innings at Allen Wedel Field. The game was extended by a lengthy lightning delay at the end of the first inning.
Bethel College has announced the formation of a women’s golf program to begin in the 2023-24 school year. David Bertholf has been named the team’s inaugural head coach.
GARDEN CITY — The Bethel College men’s golf team ended the season with a ninth-place finish at the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships Monday through Wednesday at the Buffalo Dunes Golf Course in Garden City. Friends won the team title with a four-round team score of 1,131, earning a berth to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics National Championships May 16 to 19 at the Las Sendas Golf Club in Mesa, Ariz.
