HALSTEAD — The Berean Academy Warriors were the top finishing area team at the 52nd Conrad Nightingale Invitational high school track meet Friday in Halstead. The Berean boys topped the 16-school field, while the Warrior girls were third.
The Bethel College softball team finished the weekend 1-2 in KCAC play at Wedel Field. Friday, the Threshers fell to Southwestern 8-7.
The Bethel College women’s flag football team ended its first regular season with a 22-0 loss to Saint Mary Saturday at Thresher Stadium. Bethel was without starting quarterback Kyah Rome due to injury.
Newton competes in two meets this week HAYSVILLE — The Newton High School boys’ track team placed second, while the Railer girls placed third Friday at the 11-team Campus Invitational in Haysville. The Bishop Carroll boys topped Newton 147-83.
