NEWTON - Kenneth G. Schlup Sr. 90, died January 19, 2022 at his Newton residence. He was born April 8, 1931 in Newton, Kansas to Frank and Mary L. (Hand) Schlup. On June 10, 1953 he married Mary L. Koehn at Newton and she survives of the home.

Theodore Ray Resnik

Theodore (Ted) Ray Resnik 76, passed away on January 20, 2022 while in Hospice care. Ted was born on Aril 30, 1945, the fourth of six children, and the third son of Lucille Margaret (Greep) Resnik and Daniel Edward Resnik of Whitewater, Kansas. Ted graduated from Whitewater High School and obtained a Master of Business Administration from the University of Kansas. He was a member of Delta Chi fraternity. He assisted in his parents’ car dealership growing up and intermittently during his life, being especially helpful with the accounting.

WICHITA - Robert “Bob” Schmidt, 79, Accountant, died Friday, January 14, 2022. Memorial Service will be 11:00 am, January 28, 2022 at Lorraine Avenue Mennonite Church. Bob was born on December 25, 1942 in Goessel, KS. Preceded in death by his parents, Al and Susie Schmidt. Survived by his wife of 55 years, Sylvia Schmidt of Wichita; sister, Janice Elaine (Howard) Sivertson; brother, Larry (Anita) Schmidt; daughters, Kelly (Chuck) Cleary, Jill (Mike) Robinson, Alison (Guy) Wenzel; grandchildren, Braeden & Cameron Cleary; Curtis, Thomas, Leah & Michael Robinson; Hannah, Susie & Caleb Wenzel. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with: Lorraine Avenue Mennonite Church, 655 S. Lorraine St., Wichita, KS 67211 and Mennonite Heritage & Agricultural Museum, 200 N.
