Timothy J. Conner Sr. 90 died April 29, 2022 at Kansan Christian Home. He was born in Greenwood, Indiana on February 12, 1932 to Leo and Louise (nee Howell) Conner. He was married to Mary E. Robinson and later to Lola Buck they both preceded him in death.

Beverly Diane Mayeske, age 63, of El Campo, TX (formerly of Newton, KS), passed away at sunrise, May 13, 2022 at MD Anderson Hospital, Houston, TX. Beverly was born January 30, 1959 to Alva and Neoma (Nightengale) Mayeske at Fredonia, KS. She so bravely walked her breast cancer journey.

Janet L. Daily 61, died Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at her Newton residence. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be 6:00 p.m., Monday May 16, 2022 at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel. The Family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00p.m. following the Rosary at the funeral home. Mass of the Resurrection will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at St. Mary Catholic Church Newton with The Reverend Nicholas Voelker, Celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Mary Cemetery.

Kathleen Neff, 65, of North Newton, Kan., died May 11, 2022. She was born Aug. 5, 1956, to Clifford and Elizabeth (Bartel) Bitikofer of Hesston. They attended Whitestone Mennonite Church. It was there she was baptized in 1970. During high school she developed an interest in world hunger issues and how our lifestyle choices affect people in developing countries. This led her to become a longtime member of Bread for the World. She took international trips to learn and experience other cultures. She graduated from Hesston College in 1976.
