Mental Health and Substance Abuse Coalition unveils plan to address Wichita, Sedgwick County issues

Several initiatives were introduced Thursday as part of an ongoing conversation to address mental health, substance abuse and homelessness in the community. The initiatives were introduced by the Mental Health and Substance Abuse Coalition at an en banc meeting with the Sedgwick County Commission and Wichita City Council.

COVID numbers continue decline

COVID-19 numbers in Harvey County have been declining, and that has led to a sigh of relief at the Harvey County Health Department. Last week the county saw 58 new cases – and even adding in 24 new cases over the weeked the infection rate dropped from 233 just two weeks ago.
