An eye on the environment leads Ediger to create new art form

The work now on display in Bethel College’s Regier Art Gallery represents what is very likely a new genre. Glen Ediger’s exhibit “Environmental Exposure” opened in the gallery Sept. 30. The artist reception will be Oct. 7 as part of Bethel’s Fall Festival. Reception hours are 6-8 p.m. at the gallery in Luyken Fine Arts Center, and there will be extended gallery hours during the day Saturday, Oct. 8. Regular hours are Mon.Fri., 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 p.m.

1 pound hamburger 1 medium onion, chopped 1 /2 package of taco seasoning 1 16-ounce chunk tomatoes 1 cup rice, uncooked 1 cup mayonnaise 1 cup sour cream 1 cup shredded cheese 2 cups Bisquick mix 3 /4 cup milk Instructions Fry hamburger with taco seasoning until burger is browned, add onions last minute of browning . Drain juice from tomatoes, add enough water to make 2 1 /2 cups liquid.
