This week Schaeffer Architecture gave preliminary findings of a space study the company has worked on for nearly three years. The study of the Harvey County Courthouse came back with a conclusion that was not a surprise - the county needs more space.
The Newton High School class of 2023 observed a spring tradition May 16, a walking parade in their caps and gowns through schools in the district Seniors walk through Chisholm Middle School, Santa Fe 5/6 Center and the elementary they attended. Seniors also visit Cooper Early Education Center during the morning walks before returning to Newton High School.

A German historian and pastor will be bringing an exhibit of his work to Kauffman Museum for three days. Through posters and a few artifacts, the exhibit relays the story of Mennonite connections, relief efforts and congregations in East Germany from 1949-89.
