The Newton Recreation Commission hosted the annual Candy Scramble and Costume Contest Oct. 26 at Athletic Park.
South Breeze Elementary hosted a fall carnival for area families on Oct. 21. Many of the booths were run by Bethel College students. Activities included face painting, inflatables carnival games and sack races.
