S’MORE COOKIE BARS

2/3 cup butter, softened 2/3 cup brown sugar 1 egg ½ teaspoon vanilla 1 cup graham cracker crumbs 1/2 cup flour ¼ teaspoon salt 6 Tablespoons whipping cream 10 oz. milk chocolate candy bars, broken in small pieces 2 cups miniature marshmallows Combine butter and sugar; add egg and vanilla, beat well.

Bluestem U preparing for spring classes for nontraditional- age students

Bluestem U, a lifelong learning program for individuals age 55 and better, is enrolling now for its spring 2023 semester that will begin in March. Bluestem U is a partnership between local higher education institutions Bethel College and Hesston College and Bluestem Communities, a nonprofit organization that serves seniors through various living options and care-centered services.
