The 19th Summer Enrichment Activites for Kids (SEAK) program launched in Newton last week, providing activities and free meals for children age 1 to 18 at two locations in Newton.

Museum to host sale
Kauffman Museum will host the Friends of the Museum sale of antiques, vintage items and art from 8 to noon June 21, at the museum’s front entrance, auditorium and special exhibit gallery. The museum is located at 2801 N. Main Street.
County chooses to leave firework sales restrictions in place
At the beginning of April a prospective fireworks stand owner approached the Harvey County Commission about hosting a stand near Burrton, just outside the city limits on a property in an unincorporated area of the county.
