Newton city, school will have new faces

Election filings for the 2023 city/school election in November are now complete, as the deadline for those filings at the county clerk’s office was June 1. And with those filings now complete, it is guaranteed there will be new faces on the Newton city commission and Newton USD 373 Board of Education.
