County escapes much of wild fire damage

The Cottonwood Complex Fire, a wild fire that started in Reno County on March 5 bleeding into Harvey County and forcing evacuations, continues to smolder. In Reno County, fire officials estimated the fire was about 70 percent contained Monday - one day after a rain/ice/ snow storm moved through the area.
