A safety drill at CMS proves ALICE system works

An “ALICE” drill at Chisholm Middle School Wednesday afternoon went almost as planned - and what did not go right showed how well the training is working. The drill, for staff of the school, was scheduled for about 4 p.m.

Livesay tosses one-hitter as Railers win opener

VALLEY CENTER – Newton junior pitcher Tegan Livesay was in total control Thursday as the Railer softball team stopped Augusta 12-2 in five innings to open play in the Valley Center Invitational. Livesay went the distance, allowing one hit, no earned runs, two walks and 13 strikeouts.
