Newton softball sqaud sweeps South

An extra day off because of the weather didn’t hurt the Newton High School softball team much as the Railers claimed a sweep of Salina South Thursday in AV-CTL I play at Kelsch Field. Newton won the first game 7-0 and the nightcap 3-2.
