KDOL: Unemployment drops, wages increse, in March

Preliminary estimates reported by the Labor Market Information Services (LMIS) division of the Kansas Department of Labor (KDOL) and the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) show a seasonally adjusted unemployment rate of 2.5% in March. This was unchanged from 2.5% in February and a decrease from 3.5% in March 2021.

KidFEST hosted by United Way

KidFEST, an annual event for and about children, was hosted by Harvey County United Way at multiple locations in Harvey County on April 16. KidFEST is designed to bring children ages birth to 8 year old together to participate in fun activities from local businesses and nonprofits, and receive a free book to take home.
