Railer throwers compete at McPherson
McPHERSON – The Newton High School track team took a handful of throwers to the McPherson Invitational Thursday at McPherson Stadium. In the team standings, the Railer girls and boys each placed eighth out of nine teams.
Newton 3rd, Hesston 4th at Hesston Invitational
The Newton High School boys’ tennis team placed third Tuesday, while the Hesston Swathers took fourth at the 12-team Hesston Invitational II. McPherson topped the field with 120 points.
Weekday Bible School hosts graduation
Santa Fe 5/6 students enrolled in the Newton Weekday Bible School program were recognized during a program at First Baptist Church on APril 26 - including 21 graduates of the program. About 40 students
