Car show puts together weekend

The Newton Car Show is beginning to resemble more of a festival of cars that a car show. Over the past several years the car show has grown to a two-day event - with the cruise night on Friday and the big show downtown on Saturday.

Railer softball team sweeps Hutch

Bethel men ninth, women 10th at KCAC track

WINFIELD — The Bethel College men’s track team finished eighth and the women finished ninth Thursday and Friday at the KCAC Championships at Jantz Stadium in Winfield. Saint Mary won both the men’s and women’s team titles over Friends — 215-118.5 for the men and 228-154 for the win.
