Goessel golfers finish sixth at 1A state

HESSTON — The Goessel Bluebird golf team was set to begin a second day of play at the Class 1A state championships at the Hesston Golf Course, only heavy rains prevented a second day of play. The course was ruled unplayable for Tuesday’s round and the Kansas State High School Activities Association called the tournament final after the first day of play.
