Sand Creek Summer Daze hosts music, activities

Newton Baseball Club hosts Gillispie Invitational

The Newton Baseball Club sponsored the 29-team Roger Gillispie Invitational Friday through Sunday at five different fields in the area. Bracket game results were not posted at deadline, but in the 14U division, the Newton D.Weeks team finished 2-0 in pool play, beating Newton Horton 6-3 and the Wichita Hornets 7-1.
