Newton wrestler to compete at world championships

Pending approval by Panasonic Holdings Corporation Board of Directors, the company has identified a site in De Soto for the potential project.

Sluggin’ Rebels lose lead late to Haysville

The Newton Sluggin’ Rebels fell behind early, rallied to take the lead and saw that lead slip away in the late innings, falling to the Haysville Aviators Thursday night in Sunflower Collegiate League play at Klein-Scott Field.
