ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (AP) — Two cornerstones of the Chiefs’ four straight AFC title game appearances walked into training camp elsewhere this week, and Kansas City coach Andy Reid will be spending much of the next month figuring out how to replace them.
TULSA, Okla. — A solo home run by Carson Taylor in the second inning and a two-run home run by Jonny DeLuca in the fifth inning were all the Tulsa Drillers needed in a 3-0 win over the Wichita Wind Surge Sunday afternoon in Texas League play at ONEOK Field.
Abortion is a hot button issue. No surprise there. One side portrays having an abortion as wrong, plain and simple. The other side portrays it in terms of what is best for women and others in their lives when an unplanned pregnancy occurs.
Value Them Both is a very simple amendment to the Kansas State Constitution. It does not ban abortion.
In December of 2020, Brad Heppner along with two other community leaders stopped by my office for a meeting. I pride myself in having an open door for those in the communities I represent, but this meeting was different. We discussed topics such as alternative assets, innovation in personal finance, an opportunity for Kansas to be first, and finally, the possibility to help rural Kansas grow. My mind was blown.
It is just a few days to E-day and candidate’s campaigns are in full swing. Anyone who’s been paying attention has started to notice the unique differences in all three candidates for both the Treasurer’s and Commission races. Although these candidates are all Republican, supporters of Value Them Both, fiscal conservatives, and patriots; they are all uniquely different in what they have to offer.
