The months of orange cones dotting Main Street/K-15 from Fourth Street to South 14th Street are nearly over. According to city staff, Cornejo and Sons, which won the bid for the project in June, is set to overlay the outside traffic lanes this week.

Class 3A Hesston 34, Marysville 14 HESSTON — Hudson Ferralez passed for 212 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Hesston Swathers to a 34-15 win over Marysville Friday in the Class 3A playoffs in Hesston. The Swathers led 15-0 at the half and 2207 after three quarters.

Donald Dean Quiring, 89, died on October 23, 2022, at his home in Newton, Kansas. He was born on July 8, 1933, in Cimmaron, Kansas, the son of Frank and Katherine Quiring.
