Utility rate discussion looms for January 30
Ed Myers has made several appearances at recent city commission meetings, and done an interview with Harvey County Digital posted on Facebook, to discuss utility rates. He has railed on the commission for discussing rate increases for water and sewer.
Legal notice hiccups spur discussion of statute change
The 2022 budget season was the first time counties, municipalities and schools were subject to the “revenue neutral rate” law passed by the Kansas Legislature, and as would be expected there were some hiccups along the way.
