Thresher flag football team posts first score

The Bethel College Thresher women’s flag football team scored its first touchdown in team history, had the lead for most of the game and was in the game until the final six seconds of play before falling to Cottey College 18-6 Saturday at Thresher Field in KCAC play. Kylah Rome threw a three-yard pass to Jaquelle Tucker with 5:03 left in the first quarter to put the Threshers in the lead.

Letters to the Editor

On rainy days adults skillfully walk around the puddles while children stomp gleefully through them, oblivious to the mess they’ll leave behind. Nothing cuter when kids do it but when adults do it then it’s not so cute.
