Wendell Mains was born January 1936 to Wendell and Gladys (Eastman) Mains in Iowa. Wendell died on September 21, 2022 at his home in Wichita, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Polly Mains, and his brother and sister-in-law, Richard (Dick) and Donna Mains. He is survived by his wife, Myrna (Calkins) Mains; son, Ward (Mary) Mains ; daughters, Mary (Chris) Stewart, Lisa (Chris) Schneider; sixgrandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
