Southbridge, Massachusetts- Sheryl A. Irwin, MD, died peacefully in her home surrounded by her family August 24, 2022, after a long illness. An only child and predeceased by both her parents, she is survived by her husband Richard L. Irwin, MD, of the home, to whom she was married 35 “blissful” years, son Brendan T. Irwin of Boston, MA, and daughter Lillian C. M. Irwin of Worcester, MA.

After serving the public as an Internal Medicine physician all her adult life, Sheryl remained personally a very private wife and mother fiercely devoted to her family. Services and burial will be private, as she desired them to be.
