A pair of struggling young women’s flag football programs came together Wednesday at Thresher Stadium with Pratt Community College pulling away in the second half for a 48-6 win over Bethel College.

A plan to host a fireworks stand next to Burrton hit a snag at the county commission April 8, as the site organizers would like to use sits just outside the city limits and within the county. For 2025 if a stand is to happen in the Burrton area it will need to be within the city limits, as disagreements between county zoning regulations and a resolution passed by the commission in 2015 are not in agreement on fireworks sale.
