The Bethel College men’s and women’s tennis teams each opened KCAC play with 7-0 sweeps of rival Tabor College Thursday at the Ward Tennis Center on the BC campus. The Thresher women won all six singles matches in straight sets, giving up just seven games out of 67.
HESSTON — The first-year Hesston College women’s flag football team got a measuring stick of its progress Wednesday afternoon in a 37-13 loss to Midland University at Sieber Field. The game was the first for the Larks against a fouryear college, one of the better schools in the region.
The Bethel College softball team finally regained the winning touch in a split against rival Tabor Wednesday in KCAC play at Wedel Field. Tabor scored a pair of runs in the top of the seventh inning to win the first game 7-6, but the Threshers came back to win the nightcap 4-2.
