Kristy Kay Anderson

Kristy Kay Anderson, 25, formerly of Newton, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2022, at the MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas. Kristy is survived by her parents Greg and Lori Anderson of Newton; grandma Barbara Haxton of Newton; papa Don Anderson of Lindsborg; and siblings: Laci Kelley (Marcus) of Lyons; Kayla Witterick (John) of Hillsboro; Levi Herring of Steamboat Springs, Colorado; Nicole Anderson of Newton; Ashley Anderson (Michael) of Kingston, Pennsylvania; DJ Anderson of Newton; Nikki Anderson of Conroe, Texas; Lauren Anderson of Kansas City, Missouri; Jacque Willis (Matt) of Wichita; Jacob Anderson of Newton; Alexa Reep (Adam) of Halstead; Kalli Anderson, Justin Anderson, Gage Anderson, Caleb Anderson, Carly Anderson, and Miley Anderson all of Newton. Kristy is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Kristy was preceded in death by her twin sister Elyse Anderson, nana Dorene Anderson, and papa Duane Haxton. Kristy was a 2016 graduate of Newton High School and will be remembered for her love of animals and her gentle spirit. A family celebration of life will be conducted, and Kristy will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery, Newton. Memorials may be sent to the Caring Hands Humane Society, Newton, Kansas.
