On Dec. 9, 2022, a number of community members met at the Meridian Center for the purpose of creating a video to encourage GAF Materials to choose Newton for a manufacturing facility. It’s an attempt to push the two-year project across the finish line. GAF announced intentions of locating in Newton in 2023, closing a real estate deal in April.
