Whitewashing our past helps none and harms all I believed an educational entity charged with ensuring safety and inclusion of children would not condone celebrating a racist. Once Frank Lindley’s racist past was explained to Newton’s BOE they would remove that offense to Newton’s educational system.

Hesston women top McPherson JV HESSTON — The Hesston College women’s basketball team outscored the McPherson College junior varsity 16-5 from the free throw line to claim a 51-41 win Saturday at Yost Center in Hesston. The Larks trailed 9-8 after the first quarter, but led 23-22 at the half and 38-31 after three quarters.
