Bethel to host Atlantis in opener
The Bethel College football team will go into the unknown in its season opener when the Threshers host Atlantis University at 11:30 a.m. at Thresher Stadium.

Herman “Dee” Gilbert, 93, died on August 22, 2022, at Bethesda Home in Goessel, Kansas. He was born June 19, 1929, in El Reno, Oklahoma, the son of James and Mary (Matchett) Gilbert.
Marilyn Sue (Prouty) VanRossun
Marilyn Sue (Prouty) VanRossun, age 84, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022 at her home in Paramount Community Living and Rehab of Newton, Kansas. She was born August 12, 1938 in Newton, KS. and was one of eight children blessed to the late Wilbur and Wilhelmina (Weigand) Prouty of Hesston, KS.
