Early titles with Patriots lead to Hall of Fame for Seymour

Richard Seymour was winning Super Bowls with the New England Patriots before, as he put it, Tom Bradywas Tom Brady. The defensive lineman’s early success — three championships in his first four seasons — is as good a starting point as any for how Seymour ended up in the Pro Football Hall ofFame. “We’d have a saying with the Patriots that stats can be for losers,” Seymour said. “I was asked to do selfless things.”

That’s Thessaloniki in a snapshot — a seaside trove of early Christian art and architecture, with echoes of the sacred all around the city, from the mythical mountain home of the ancient Greek gods to the contemporary Orthodox Christian monasticism of Mount Athos.

‘Children Are Not Little Adults’ and need protection during heat waves

Kaiser Health News After more than a week of record-breaking temperatures across much of the country, public health experts are cautioning that children are more susceptible to heat illness than adults are — even more so when they’re on the athletic field, living without air conditioning, or waiting in a parked car. Cases of heat-related illness are rising with average air temperatures, and experts say almost half of those getting sick are children.
