‘Farm to Fork’ growing

“Farm to Fork” has focused on bringing city and farm folk together since its inception in 2016, by offering all the chance to eat locally grown foods while touring where some of it is grown. “Everything we serve at dinner is produced in Butler County,” said Tiya Tonn, Butler County Farm Bureau Association county coordinator and Farm to Fork chair.

Spokes MIT stops at NPL

Loretta Carol Sauerwein

Loretta Carol Sauerwein, age 64, after a long battle with cancer, died Thursday, July 7, 2022 at her Newton residence. She was born on December 30, 1957 in Anthony, Kansas to Vlastislav and Louise (Anton) Sheen. On September 12, 2009 she married Terry Sauerwein in Newton, and he survives of the home.
