There is a god here in the US more powerful than the Christian God, the Jewish God, the Muslim God, the Native American God; more powerful than any god that came before it. With this god at his side the most insignificant of humans becomes a religious avenger, reeking death upon the perceived unworthy. This god is powerful, pervasive, omnipotent. It has seized our land, our lives, our very souls. And, we fall to our knees in humble fear and worship the Gun God.
The most important vote of our lifetime will occur on August 2nd. By voting YES on the Value Them Both Amendment, collectively, each of our votes can save thousands of lives in the years to come. As one of your Kansas Legislators who supported sending this amendment to the people for the vote, let me clarify exactly what this amendment does:
