According to Jim Meier, superintendent of the Harvey County Road and Bridge Department, the first phase of a months-long project to mill and resurface Hesston Road/ Old 81 is all but complete. “I am pretty pleased with how it rides, it rides a lot better than it did,” Meier said. “The extra inch approved made a huge difference.”
