BURRTON — The Burrton Charger girls’ basketball team had just six players dressed, while the Argonia Raiders had just five during non-league play Tuesday in Burrton. The Raiders dominated outside the 3- point line, but Burrton controlled the inside game and held on for a 36-30 win.

Prep girls Moundridge 50, Oxford 28 OXFORD — The Moundridge Wildcat girls jumped out 30-13 in the first half to get past Oxford 50-28 Tuesday in non-league play in Oxford. “It was great to get the girls back on the court tonight,” Moundridge coach Kaleigh Huxman said.
BURRTON — Burrton High School freshman Cam Schmidt put up some Wilt Chamberlin-type numbers in the first quarter, but had to settle for Kobe Bryant or LaBron James-type numbers in the final three quarters, leading the Charger boys to a 69-40 win over Argonia in nonleague play Tuesday at Burrton.
