It might seem like the entire world was watching the "Game of Thrones" finale on Sunday. And with 19.3 million viewers, that's nothing to sniff at. But it's far from the most watched series finale of all time.
Here are the 10 most watched scripted series finales ever:
10. "Home Improvement" (1999)
The Tim Allen-led comedy brought in 35.5 million viewers for ABC when it aired its final episode.
9. "Family Ties" (1989)
After seven seasons, Michael J. Fox's Alex P. Keaton prepared to move to New York and said "goodbye" to 36.3 million viewers.
8. "All In the Family" (1979)
While the series finale wasn't much of a finale — the spin-off "Archie Bunker’s Place" premiered a few months later — 40.2 million viewers still tuned in as Archie professed his love for Edith.
7. "The Cosby Show" (1992)
Theo graduated from college and Denise revealed her pregnancy to 44.4 million viewers.
6. "Magnum, P.I." (1988)
CBS actually redid the series finale after fans caused an uproar, adding another season and undoing what was supposed to be Magnum's death ("Game of Thrones" fans, you probably won't get the same). The final series finale drew in 50.7 million viewers.
5. "Friends" (2004)
Chandler, Monica, Ross, Rachel, Joey and Phoebe visited Central Perk one last time in front of 52.5 million viewers, although the show continues to have huge streaming success.
4. "Seinfeld" (1998)
The final episode of the sitcom, "The Finale," famously divided the 76.3 million viewers who tuned in.
3. "The Fugitive" (1967)
The identity of the “One-Armed Man” who killed Dr. Richard Kimble’s wife was finally revealed to an audience of 78 million.
2. "Cheers" (1993)
The extra long episode, “One for the Road,” ended 11 seasons of "Cheers" for 80.4 million viewers, who also saw Shelley Long return as Diane Chambers for the finale.
1. "M*A*S*H" (1983)
An astonishing 105 million people watched the finale of "M*A*S*H," which held the title of the most watched television event ever until the 2010 Super Bowl.
