The Bethel College volleyball match scheduled for Saturday against Oklahoma Wesleyan has been postponed.

According to a release from the college, "The postponement follows the identification of positive test results of COVID-19 amongst the Thresher volleyball program. The team is currently following Bethel's isolation and quarantine protocols. For precautionary reasons, the match against Oklahoma Wesleyan has been delayed."

The match was originally scheduled to be held at Saint Mary, but was moved to Bethel when Saint Mary had a positive COVID case. Saint Mary has yet to play a match this season.

Avila also has suspended play because of the virus.

Bethel’s next scheduled matches are Oct. 6 at home against McPherson and Oct. 10 at home with Ottawa and Friends.

The KCAC has built extra make-up dates into the schedule this year as well as playing a split season that extends into the spring.

The KCAC and NAIA tournaments are this spring.
