HUTCHINSON — The HCB Rebels of Newton baseball team downed the Hutchinson Storm Chasers 12-4 and 5-3 Thursday in play at Fun Valley in Hutchinson.


The Rebels are 5-4.


Railers-Weeks


down Hornets


The Newton Railers-Weeks baseball team topped the Hutchinson Hornets 15-0 and 10-8 Thursday.


The team is 3-3.


Lady Railers


fall to Khaos


WICHITA — The Newton Lady Railers 10U softball team beat the Cheetahs 10U 13-1 in a no-hitter and fell to the Khaos Softball-Grey on Wednesday in Two Rivers Youth League play in Wichita.


The Railers are 7-2.


Railers 14U


fall to Tribe


GODDARD — The Newton Railers 14U baseball team fell to the Clearwater Tribe 15-13 on Wednesday at the Genesis Sports Complex in Goddard.


Lucas Huxman drove in three runs for the Railers. Blaze Bradshaw drove in two runs.


Bradshaw and James Hulse each struck out two batters.


The Railers are 4-9 and play this weekend at the Genesis Sports Complex.


SWBC Railers

WICHITA — The SWBC Railers of Newton downed the Warriors 10-1 on Wednesday in Southwest Boys’ Club League play in Wichita.


The Railers are 3-9 and play the Ark City Dawgs 12U at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the Southwest Boys’ Club complex.


Halstead ties


Hesston 10U


HALSTEAD — The Hesston Swathers 10U baseball team tied Halstead 6-6 on Thursday in Halstead.
