"Proud of the gritty performance by our guys tonight," Moundridge coach Vance Unrau said. "Down 16 early, battled back to cut it to seven at halftime and took a one-point lead at the end of third. We had our opportunities late but just couldn't get the shots to fall and then we had to foul. Grateful to our seniors, Dan (Kaufman) and Brady, for providing the leadership that our less-experienced and young guys needed. I'm looking forward to working in the offseason with next year's group."

Trinity faces Sterling at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Inman in the semifinals. Moundridge ends the season 9-12.
